PRICE METHODOLOGY
Price Sources & Methodology
Match the card's language, set, number and printing before comparing references. Actual sale prices also depend on condition and market demand.
Raw card price sources
Card information and raw market references are synced from TCGdex to Supabase. TCGplayer quotes printing-specific market values in USD; Cardmarket supplies average, trend and low values in EUR. These are market references, not offers to buy on this site, and do not grade raw card condition.
TCGCSV fallback quotes
Japanese cards without a TCGplayer quote may use an exactly matched TCGCSV reference. Provider quotes may not distinguish printing language. We retain missing prices when no reliable match exists.
Quote dates and recorded history
Displayed dates refer to source updates or recorded snapshots; prices are not guaranteed live. Charts use collected daily observations, without filling missing dates, estimating volume or inventing earlier history. The public catalog index uses an approximately five-minute process cache.
Subscriber PSA 10 prices
PSA 10 pricing uses the Pokémon Price Tracker cards API, matched by TCGplayer product ID and English or Japanese language. We display the USD median from eBay salesByGrade.psa10.medianPrice when available. Missing data does not mean a zero-dollar value. Results are cached for about twelve hours and are separate from raw card quotes. A signed-in account with an active subscription entitlement is required to retrieve these prices.
Currencies, rankings and coverage
Some comparisons convert values to TWD using ExchangeRate-API. Cross-currency rankings are omitted if rates are unavailable. Pokémon totals use available TCGplayer USD references in the selected language, counting each card once at its highest available printing price. Unpriced cards are excluded from totals and averages. The catalog reflects tracked coverage, rather than every card ever released.
